Billie Beatrice Randall Edwards, 86, of Greensboro, N.C., and formerly of Norman, died Thursday, Oct. 29, in Greensboro. Services will be at 2 p.m. Nov.15 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Edwards was born Feb, 6, 1916, in Blackwell to Carl A, and Ana Beatrice Sanders. She graduated with a music degree from the University of Oklahoma. She married Lionel E. Edwards June 30, 1941. She taught music in Norman Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, P.E.O., and McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. She played the piano and organ for several church choirs, played bridge and had season tickets to all OU sporting events.

Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Jean Martin and Margaret Joe Bickford, both of Oklahoma City; children, Kay Lynn Thompson of Greensboro and Steven Randall Edwards, of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
