Mrs. Cora Lea Hoover, 67. 737 Jenkins Ave., died in Norman Municipal Hospital Wednesday after an extended illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Mayes Chapel of Remembrance, conducted by Dr. Wayen Coffin. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Hoover was born Sept. 18, 1900, in Valliant and moved to Norman 50 years ago. A retired teacher, she had taught at Washington Elementary School for 32 years.

Mrs. Hoover was a member of McFarlin Memorial Methodist Church and the Oklahoma Education Association.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey, of the home; a son, Billy Gene Monical, Oklahoma City; a stepson, Norman Hoover, Rt.2; three sisters, Mrs. Essie Housley, Tulsa, Mrs. Ted Lane, 310 Castro St., Mrs. Madge Abercrombie, Cut Bank, Mont.; a brother, M.E. Navarro, Temple, Tex.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
