Mrs. Pearce was by far my all time favorite grade school teacher. She had a very sweet disposition and a great sense of humor. I remember the day she brought a baby chick to school. She was horsing around and decided to put it on top of her head. Of course this made all of us laugh but what really broke us up was when the baby chick pooped in her hair.
She just laughed right along with us!
