Services for Mrs. Mary Rees Wilson, 83, 715 Lindsey St., will
be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Primrose Chapel conducted by Dr.
E. Kenneth Feaver. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery
in Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Wilson died Tuesday night at Norman Municipal Hospital.
Born July 19, 1882, she was a retired school teacher. She
taught in Love County, was principal at Guymon and later
taught at Panhandle A&M College. She received her bachelor
of sciences degree in home ecomonics from OU and also
attended Oklahoma State University.
She was a member of the National Rose Society, the AAUW,
the Oklahoma Garden Society, the OU Alumni Association
and the OSU Alumni Association.
She is survived by a son, Wilbur Wilson, Arlington, Va.; a
daughter, Mrs. Howard J. Evans, DuBoise, Pa.; a sister,
Ida G. Rees, Denton, Tex.; two grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Rites for Veteran Teacher on Friday
Norman--Services for Mary Rees Wilson, 84, who died
Tuesday at Norman Municipal Hospital, will be at 2 p.m.
Friday in Primrose Funeral Home, with burial at Fairlawn
Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Wilson was a retired teacher in Norman, Guymon
and Stillwater schools. She came to Oklahoma in 1903
and attended the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma
State University.
Survivors include a son, Wilbur, Arlington, Va.; a daughter,
Mrs. Howard J. Evans, DuBoise, Pa.; and a sister, Ida G.
Rees, Denton, Texas.
