I went to OU and majored in education with an emphasis in library science. I did part of my student teaching at the library at Norman High School.
I married James Nichols in 1975 and moved to Denver,CO where I worked for the National Indian Heath Board. After my husband completed his doctoral studies at Indiana University, we moved to Oswego, NY where he is on the faculty. I work part time in the University Library.
We have two sons, the oldest is an attorney in Minneapolis and recently married. The youngest is working on a Master's Degree in Architecture at Georgia Tech. He will finish in one more year.
We have a beautiful Border Collie names Sophie.
