Mike and I have been married going on 41 years. We have one son, Vincent 40 and 3 grandkids, Chris 18 (we raised him, so he's our son too), granddaughter Kayla 14 and grandson Alex 11. I've been a homemaker forever. I'm self taught in computer graphics and animation and I create e-mail stationery. I designed and maintain my own web site, which I'm creating for all the time. I like to swim when the weather allows, enjoy working in my gardens and crocheting from time to time and a good book too. We now live in Taft, CA. We moved here in May '94, we lived in Healdton, OK for 14 years and Dew, TX for 3 years and Norman for 7 years after Mike got out of the Marines in 1970. My life summed up in a short paragraph.

Mark Massey

After years of hard work, I finally achieved my dream of becoming a Chinese noodle salesman. Okay, not really. But after sort of intentionally taking a wrong turn in Istanbul, I spent time in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India and finally took up residence in a Buddhist monastery in Katmandu, Nepal. When I finally returned to the States for some fool reason I thought it would be a good idea to become a Certified Public Accountant and after a few years of that I decided that it was way too much like work, so naturally I went into real estate where I made a fortune. Then I lost it all. In fact, I sort of whistled right past zero. After that (about 22 years ago) I met a beautiful and charming woman and asked her to marry me after knowing her for only 21 days. I was thinking that I’d better do that before she got to know me too well. We have been together since then and I think the secret to our success is that I try to remember that she’s usually right,! and she puts up with me. She says she loves me just the way I am, but frequently requests that I don’t get any worse. We live in Fort Collins, Colorado and operate a real estate investment and management company that we started 20 years ago. We have a beautiful daughter that attends the University of Colorado and generally our lives are pretty darned good. I am glad that I went to NHS and can call such an incredible group of people my friends. This is a great website.

Worked for many years as a secretary and then for approx. 15 years part time/full time for Brockhaus Flowers in Noble. When Nettie Brockhaus sold the business I have not worked since. Dan and I raised our 2 children and they attended Noble Schools. Our daughter graduated from OSU and our son graduated from OU. They are both married and have 2 children each, so that means we have 4 sweet blessings (grandchildren). We were part owners in a business in OKC for many years and when we sold our part of the business, we raised ostriches for about 5 years and then Dan went to work for a contractor with the weather service. We did alot of traveling with his job, but now he is working for a company in OKC. I have kept busy with taking care of parents and keeping up with our property and home and all that takes.
