A lot of interesting and fulfilling things have filled my life since high school. I worked at University of Oklahoma for many years while I raised my two talented and wonderful sons, Michael & Patrick. Since leaving OU in 1995, I've worked for two international organizations that allowed me my first opportunity to travel internationally; then returned to higher education working at Tulane U Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (there during Katrina) and now am Vice Chancellor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Met and married a great guy and friend, Brian Sweeney in Connecticut. We have friends and family throughout the country -- and in Europe, too. My Dad, siblings and sons still live in Oklahoma, so I'm back pretty regularly. Much to be happy about. See bio |
